- To be used to gather and allocate moneys as a rolling development fund, by ManTaR Ltd and other similar organisations.
- To channel funds from online credit card donations, etc., via a charitable body, where this would provide tax return or other benefits.
- To manage cross-funding of development projects in accordance with the aims of OverMet Ltd.
- To manage intellectual property (systems designs, software, etc) on a global basis.
- To provide a knowledge clearing house for those throughout the world developing individually empowering intranet and internet systems.

Redbricks Online - www.redbricks.org.uk - went live in August 1998. As far as we know, the first, and only self-funded and developed neighbourhood network - an Intranet within the neighbourhood, with permanent Internet connection.
